Lynn Vision wins Hero Esports Asian Champions League 2026
Lynn Vision has won the Hero Esports Asian Champions League 2026, in front of their home crowd in Shanghai, China and in turn also booked their place in the Esports World Cup 2026. The BO5 final saw Lynn Vision pick up a 3-1 win with z4KR and Starry standing out with strong performances which helped Lynn Vision take down JiJieHao.
The final kicked off with a marathon affair on the Chinese team's pick of Dust2 with JiJieHao seeing off four map points to push it to overtime. It needed five overtimes to determine a winner with z4KR and Starry's 44 and 41 kill performances helped Lynn Vision hold on for a 28-24 win, going flawless in the fifth overtime. On JiJieHao's pick of Ancient, thr trio of Starry, Westmelon and EmiliaQAQ powered Lynn Vision to a 9-3 CT side which helped them ease to a 13-6 win.
JiJieHao put up their first map win of the series on Inferno, where after a tied opening half, a six round streak on the T side helped JiJieHao stay alive with a 13-9 win. Moving to the fourth map of the series on Anubis, despite a stellar start from JiJieHao on their CT side, as they went 8-4 up and looked like were taking the final to all five maps, Lynn Vision answered with the force buy win after dropping the second half pistol and turned things around to pick up a 13-10 win on the back of a nine round CT half to wrap the series 3-1.
The win sees Lynn Vision not only win $80,000 for winning the Hero Esports Asian Champions League 2026 but also qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026, with the event serving as a regional qualifier.
