mzinho, 910 power The MongolZ to a dominant start at CAC 2026
CS Asia Championships 2026 is off to a solid start with several close games in group B but The MongolZ posted a dominant win in their opening game. Lynn Vision came into the matchup with a five-match win streak and even got an early hit in, denying The MongolZ their CT-side bonus round on Ancient but fell apart as the game went on.
Lynn Vision could only bag three rounds on their T-side as The MongolZ secured a convincing 9-3 lead at halftime. The Chinese side just fell flat individually on the T-side with just Starry crossing double-figures. In stark contrast, three of The MongolZ players put of ratings in excess of 1.30 in the first half.
Lynn Vision were up against a steep climb just to make things competitive but stood no chance as The MongolZ hit match points straight out the gate on their T-side off of pistol, anti-eco and bonus conversions in the second half. A clean 4-0 on their T-side saw The MongolZ close Ancient 13-3 and send Lynn Vision down to the lower bracket where they face Ninjas in Pyjamas with their backs against elimination.
The MongolZ advance to the upper semi-final in group A, where they take on B8.
