Lynn Vision see off NiP to stay alive at CAC 2026
Lynn Vision were handed a crushing 3-13 defeat by The MongolZ in the opening round and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) fell to B8 as both teams locked horns in the first lower bracket round in group B at the CS Asia Championships 2026. The Chinese team managed to stay alive in their home event, beating the NiP squad in their elimination game.
The series started on Dust2 and Lynn Vision were more than comfortable on their own map pick. The Chinese side took a 5-0 lead on the CT-side but Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to claw their way back in and restrict Lynn Vision's lead to 7-5. Right out the gate in the second half, Lynn Vision hit match point off of a five-round T-side streak. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to pull back a few rounds but eventually conceded a 13-8 loss on Dust2. Nuke started off with back and forth trades until 4-5 but Lynn Vision closed the half with a trio of rounds, securing another 7-5 lead. Lynn Vision could not break through NiP's CT defense as the Danish core delivered an impressive 8-2 CT-side to take Nuke 13-9 and level the series at 1-1.
The decider took us to Ancient where Ninjas in Pyjamas struggled on the CT-side and were clearly out of steam. Dropping just a couple of rounds in the first half, Lynn Vision secured a 10-2 lead on their T-side and closed Ancient 13-3 off of z4KR's 100+ ADR showing to win the series 2-1 and stay alive at the CS Asia Championships 2026 after elimination Ninjas in Pyjamas. Lynn Vision's road goes further uphill as they take on PARIVISION in their next game and if they are to survive, will take on The MongolZ or Liquid in the lower final.
