The MongolZ make CS Asia Championships 2026 Playoffs after incredible Mirage comeback
The MongolZ have booked the final spot in the Playoffs of the CS Asia Championships 2026 after taking down PARIVISION 2-0 in the Group B lower bracket final. After a stomp on PARIVISION's map pick of Dust2, The MongolZ came back from being 2-9 down on Mirage to put up a stunning CT side to send Jame and his boys packing from Shanghai. The win sees The MongolZ move into the quarter-finals and will face Legacy later on today.
PARIVISION's pick of Dust2 started with the Russian team picking up the T pistol but The MongolZ answered with the force and it was one-way traffic post that mzinho led a strong CT half with The MongolZ going 9-3 up. The MongolZ kept it clean to wrap up Dust2 at 13-4 with mzinho topping the scoreboard with 21 kills and a 1.65 rating.
PARIVISION finally found some form and streak of rounds on Mirage as it was their turn to put up a strong CT half which saw Jame's boys go 9-3 up with the captain leading from the front with a 17 kill and 2.42 rating CT half. PARIVISION though, had no answer to The MongolZ's CT hold as yet another strong defensive set up saw The MongolZ pull off an incredible comeback to come all the way back from being 2-9 down to steal a 13-11 win and wrap the series 2-0.
By making the Playoffs through the lower bracket in Group B, The MongolZ qualify for the Playoffs and will face Legacy next in the quarter-final.
