Legacy makes it back-to-back titles in China after CAC 2026 triumph
Legacy have made it back-to-back CS Asia Championships title after beating Falcons 3-1 in the grand final of the CS Asia Championships 2026. After losing the opening map in the BO5 final, Legacy swept Falcons to pick up a convincing 3-1 win with latto starring for the Brazilian squad with a 1.52 rating that handed him the MVP title as well.
Legacy's pick of Nuke kicked off the final with a couple of late CT rounds seeing Falcons tie up the score at 6-6. A back and forth half saw Falcons fight back with kyousuke and m0NESY helping Falcons edge out a 13-11 win. On Legacy's pick of Ancient, a complete shut down on their CT side saw Legacy go 9-3 up before seeing off the Falcons to tie up the series with a 13-9 win as latto's 28 kill was the key for the Brazilian dominance.
Mirage was a similar story as Legacy started strong again, this time a four round lead on the T side helped them convert their 8-4 half to a 13-6 win with dumau and n1ssim being the stars with a 1.82 and 1.79 ratings respectively. Moving to Dust2, where Falcons needed to win to stay alive in the series, it was another disappointing T side from Falcons as Legacy dominated their way to a 13-6 win to wrap up the final with a 3-1 score line.
For Falcons, it yet another grand final loss with the marking seven successive grand final losses for karrigan's boys and it was karrigan's first loss in a final with Falcons after joining the team recently.
