SemperFi books final spot against TYLOO at ECL S51 APAC Finals
SemperFi have booked their place in the Grand Final of the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals after picking up a 2-0 win over THUNDER dOWNDUNDER in the all-Australian semi-final clash.
The semi-final got going on SemperFi's pick of Dust2 which saw THUNDER dOWNUNDER start with five in a row on their CT side before a late fight back from SemperFi keep THUNDER dOWNUNDER's CT half lead to two. Despite picking up both pistols, a force buy win helped SemperFi's CT half get going and seven in a row saw them hit map point before they picked up their map pick at 13-9.
Nuke saw a string of each teams to get things going as it was a tied opening half with hazr's 16 kill half helping SemperFi stay in touch with THUNDER dOWNUNDER. Another back and forth affair saw a tight end to the map with SemperFi edging out at 13-10 to wrap up the series in two.
SemperFi will now face TYLOO in the final of the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals with the winner of that set to book themselves a place at the ESL Pro League Season 24.
