Youngest and oldest players at IEM Cologne 2026 Major

The first Major of the year, IEM Cologne 2026 is barely a week away. Set to start on 2nd June 2026, 17 players will make their Major debut in stage 1 with Sharks and SINNERS entirely composed of debutants. Previously we went through all the rookies at the Cologne 2026 Major and here we look at some of the oldest and youngest players who will take stage at IEM Cologne 2026.

B8's s1zzi is the youngest player at IEM Cologne 2026 at 16 years old and the Ukrainian will be in action from the very start, in stage 1. Three of FUT's players dziugss (17 years), dem0n (18 years) and cmtry (18) take second and third spots in the list tied with kyousuke and xelex but what sets the latter apart is the fact that his Major debut at 17 years of age comes in stage 3 alongside the toughest of competition alongside the likes of Vitality among others.

The MongolZ's mzinho also makes the list at 18 years of age but the Mongolian rifler is no stranger to the big stage having made it to the grand-final of the Austin Major in 2025.

Turning the tables around, karrigan tops the charts in the list of veterans. At 36 years of age, the Danish in-game leader was out of Major contention a month back but jumped ship to join Falcons and sail into IEM Cologne 2026. karrigan is also tied with apEX for the most Majors attended at 22. Four out of the five oldest players at IEM Cologne 2026- karrigan, MAJ3R, FalleN and apEX are in-game leaders. Liquid's jokasteve is the oldest registered substitute at 35 years of age.

IEM Cologne 2026 Major will feature twelve players aged 30 or above and twenty two players aged 20 or below.
