TYLOO wins ESL Challenger League S51 APAC Finals to qualify for EPL S24
TYLOO have booked themselves a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 24 after winning the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals. In the final, TYLOO were able to best SemperFi, picking up a 3-0 win in the BO5 final to book themselves an ESL Pro League spot.
The final kicked off on TYLOO's opening map pick of Inferno, where after a back and forth opening half on their T side that saw TYLOO manage to put up five T rounds, a strong CT half helped TYLOO ease to a 13-9 win with Moseyuh and Mercury topping the scoreboard with 19 kills each. Mirage was a similar story as SemperFi started their map pick with a two round lead on their T side but a flawless eight round T side led by Jee and JamYoung powered TYLOO to a 13-7 win.
Moving to their own map pick of Nuke, SemperFi's pistol win and conversion and a couple of rounds at the back helped them tie up the opening half and despite picking up the second half pistol and converting against it, seven in a row from TYLOO on their CT half helped TYLOO pick up a 13-8 win to close the series at 3-0.
SemperFi's Lativian AWPer keen took to X post game to highlight the high ping difference both teams and how it hampers teams from the region.
