rev3nnnn calls out VICTORES SUMUS over payment dues

VICTORES SUMUS is back in the news but not for reasons one would hope for. It all began last month on 30th April, when rev3nnnn took to X, claiming that he would be "addressing a situation that has gone on for far too long". Without naming the organization at first, rev3nnnn alleges payment dues and diversion from commitments, questioning the entire system and how it would function without accountability.

There’s also a noticeable shift in attitude. The professionalism and respect shown during the initial phase are no longer present.

Towards the end of his post, rev3nnnn mentioned that he would post the entire situation with specifics if the issue wouldn't get resolved soon. Nearly a month later, rev3nnnn has followed up with his previous post, alleging that the organization in question, did not "honor commitments" and disclose the situation transparently to the affected party.

The Indian AWPer specified that the issue involved prize money from Dust2 India Masters circuits and it's internal distribution. Whether all of the payment dues revolve around this specific issue or is just a part of it, is unclear from rev3nnnn's post. He alleges that his originally agreed upon share of ₹8,500 INR was cut down to ₹5,000 without any intimation or explanation. When rev3nnnn followed up for clarification, the organization allegedly cited "entertainment tax" for the cut without enough documentation to satisfy rev3nnnn.

rev3nnnn quickly specifies that his main issue is with integrity and transparency, not money. "Commitments are not marketing material.Based on my experience, I have chosen to permanently blacklist this organization from any future association", said rev3nnnn, concluding his post. He later mentions that the organization was VICTORES SUMUS in one of the replies.

Dust2 India has reached out to VICTORES SUMUS to verify these claims but has not received a response yet at the time of publishing this article.

🕓Update (04:45PM IST): Dust2 India reached out to rev3nnnn and received confirmation that the issue entirely revolves around the Dust2 India Masters circuit's prize money distribution. He also revealed that other dues (salaries) were paid out after a nine-month delay.
