TYLOO see off SINNERS to stay alive in Cologne
TYLOO have avoided elimination and kept themselves alive in the ongoing IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 1 after beating SINNERS in straight maps in their elimination game. TYLOO's win sees them move into the 1-2 bracket and they sent SINNERS packing from the Major.
SINNERS had kicked off the elimination on their pick of Ancient in a strong manner and were 12-7 up before Zero and Mercury stepped up to help TYLOO see off five map points to force overtime. TYLOO finally found rhythm in overtime to steal a 16-14 win with Zero topping the score boards with 30 kills. On their own pick of Inferno, TYLOO held the early advantage, converting against the T side pistol win and were 5-2 up before SINNERS found five of their own on the CT to close the half. SINNERS carried the momentum to go 10-6 up before TYLOO's defensive hold saw them put up seven straight CT rounds to walk away with a 13-10 win to wrap up the series in two.
TYLOO's win sees them join the likes of FlyQuest, THUNDER dOWNUNDER, Liquid and Sharks in the 1-2 bracket. Sinners meanwhile become the first team to be eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and they exit Stage 1 with a disappointing 0-3 record.
