IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 1 Day 2: Recap

The second day's action at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 is done and dusted as we have our first two teams locked in for Stage 2 and we also saw the first two teams being eliminated from the Major. The BO1 games kicked off the second day at Stage 1 and the action wrapped up with BO3s as the likes of BetBoom and B8 made their way to the next stage.

The 1-1 bracket games had kicked off the day with NRG taking down FlyQuest while the other Australian team, THUNDER dOWNUNDER also faced defeat at the hands of BIG. MIBR beat Liquid while Lynn Vision made it two wins in a row after easing past Sharks.

The final round of the games for the day were the two elimination matches as TYLOO stayed alive against a sloppy SINNERS squad while HEROIC wasted no time to send Gaimin Gladiators packing from IEM Cologne Major 2026.
