First CS2 tournament to take place at a subway station

The world of Counter-Strike just witnessed a unique moment, as the first CS2 tournament was held in a subway station. FiReLEAGUE Buenos Aires 2025 took place at Subte A, Peru Station, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

A theft was even reported during the tournament, according to Dust2.br, as a 19-year-old stole a cellphone near the subway entrance. Imperial clinched the title, beating 9z to secure $50K and a spot at Roobet Cup 2025.
