The MongolZ go down fighting to MOUZ
The MongolZ once again failed to make it out of the semi-finals at a big event in 2025 as the Mongolian squad went down 0-2 to MOUZ in a close top four game which saw them exit from IEM Dallas 2025.
Early shutdown from MOUZ on their CT side on The MongolZ's pick of Inferno saw Brollan and his boys start with a big 7-0 lead before The MongolZ salvaged it to a two-round difference by the half break. Despite losing the second half pistol, an eco win in the following round saw The MongolZ's CT half kick off but two late B hits saw MOUZ hit map point first and MOUZ held on for a 13-11 win with a torzsi collateral in the final round of the half signaling the end for bLitz and co. on their map pick.
910's AWP caused all sorts of havoc early on, on MOUZ's pick of Nuke as The MongolZ raced away to a 6-1 start and despite MOUZ looking like they'd pull things back, two impactful rounds from Secret and Garage with a stellar triple from bLitz in the final round of the half saw The MongolZ take an 8-4 lead.
A scrappy pistol from The MongolZ saw them drop the second pistol on Nuke but mzinho and Techno turned around a 2v4 in the force buy to hit right back. Once again MOUZ woke up late to hit match point first and MOUZ once again held on for a 13-11 win.
