VICTORES SUMUS go down to COME MID in the semi-final
The Dust2 India - 1xBET Masters 22 kicked off today with the first semi-final pitting the Indian team VICTORES SUMUS against Pakistan's COME MID. EmbeR faced his former Gods Reign coach PokemoN in the server with the latter coming out on top.
The series began on Dust2, a pick of COME MID where they started their CT side with an 8-1 lead. While VICTORES SUMUS somewhat recovered the half by bagging the last three rounds, losing the second pistol spelled disaster for them as their deficit increased to 4-11. Despite best efforts from arakyn and Recoilmaster, VICTORES SUMUS ultimately lost by 10-13 margin.
On the second map Ancient, COME MID once again started their CT side on the right foot, winning the first three rounds. VICTORES SUMUS looked to make a comeback, overtaking their lead to secure a 4-3 lead of their own, but COME MID established an 11-5 lead by extending their second pistol win. Once again, Recoilmaster was the sole thorn in the sides of COME MID, which they overcame to clinch a 13-9 victory.
COME MID's 2-0 win puts them into the final where they will take on either Flshbck or compatriots WahWah.
