PGL Bucharest 2026 details announced
PGL Bucharest is all set to return in 2026 with similar team composition, format and prize pool. The tournament organizer revealed all the important dates and information today through a blogpost.
PGL Bucharest 2026 will feature sixteen teams and similar to it's inaugural edition- twelve of these teams receive direct invites through the Global VRS and four teams can make their way through the qualifiers. The qualifiers are spread across Asia, Europe, North America and South America. The Asian side of things will operate as follows:

Matches continue until a clear winner is decided.
The event will carry a prize pool of $1,250,000 USD where the winner bags a total of $400,000 USD further split down into $200,000 USD each as prize money and club reward. PGL Bucharest 2026 will take place in PGL Studios between 3rd April 2026 and 13th April 2026.
