Chinggis Warriors go down to Legacy; on the brink of elimination
Chinggis Warriors' BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 Day 1 ended in a nightmare manner as the Mongolian team went down to Brazilian team Legacy to drop to the 0-2 bracket and now are one loss away from being eliminated from the Major.
After dropping the opening pistol and conversion, Chinggis Warriors' first T round on Nuke of the back of a quick A hit on a mixed buy which saw the Mongolian team quickly go on to take the lead of the map following a string of rounds. Chinggis Warriors' six-round streak came to an end thanks to a saadzin triple as the Brazilian AWPer stepped up and Legacy made sure to tie up the half at 6-6.
Legacy locked in both pistols on Nuke as the Brazilians went 9-6 up before controlez denied saadzin a 1v2 to get Chinggis Warriors' CT side going. Three in a row from the Mongolian team saw them tie up the game once again, this time at 9-9. A force buy on the upper site saw Legacy keep themselves in the game and it was the Brazilians taking a 13-10 win to put up their first win at the Austin Major 2025 while Chinggis Warriors dropped to the 0-2 bracket.
The Mongolian team are now on the brink of elimination and are one BO3 loss away from exiting the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
