IEM Cologne 2025 invites announces
Based on yesterday's Valve Regional Standings update, ESL announced the invites that'll go out for IEM Cologne 2025. The top eight in Global VRS have secured direct invites to the main event. These teams are:

4. Falcons
5. 
The MongolZ
6. 
Aurora
7. G2
8. NAVI
The next sixteen teams, ranked 9th to 24th in the Global VRS will secure IEM Cologne 2025 Play-in invites. The Play-in or Stage 1 of IEM Cologne 2025 will feature sixteen teams in a double-elimination bracket, filtering out half of the participants. The top eight will make it to the main event.
IEM Cologne 2025 starts on 23rd July 2025 and will run for 12 days concluding with the playoffs at the LANXESS Arena.
The teams that will battle it out in Stage 1 of IEM Cologne 2025 are:
