The Turkish Counter-Strike star was banned for community guidelines violation on Twitch

XANTARES gets unbanned on Twitch

His ban lasted nearly 4 years

Turkish Counter-Strike star XANTARES took to X recently acknowledging that his twitch account was reinstated and his ban was lifted. An automated X account which goes by the handle @StreamerBans wrote on X that XANTARES was unbanned after "3 years, 11 months and 5 days". As the handle suggests, the account automatically posts information about notable streamers getting banned or unbanned.

A couple of hours later, XANTARES took to X, expressing his excitement and relief towards the same. XANTARES mentions that he tried every possible option to address his ban but upon starting his Aurora venture, things changed and the CEO "fully embraced the situation and pursued every necessary step with determination" to get XANTARES back on Twitch.

XANTARES was a massive name in the community with over 500,000 followers on Twitch. Every time the Turkish star went live, he would average around 10,000 viewers, a number that sponsors line up for. His ban in August 2021 left the community devastated, to which XANTARES said "I got banned from Twitch guys, I don’t know why but I definitely deserve it, it’s not their fault bro."

He later clarified that his ban was due to community guidelines violation and some viewers claimed that he was handed the ban for toxic response towards insults hurled at him during a CS:GO match mid-stream. However, XANTARES seems relieved to be back on Twitch as he writes "This isn’t just the restoration of a Twitch account. It is the return of a legacy, a community, and years of dedication and passion."
