Chinggis Warriors stun Fluxo to pick up first win in Austin
Chinggis Warriors put up a resilient performance in their 0-2 bracket game at the Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 as the Mongolian team reverse swept Brazil's Fluxo 2-1 to keep themselves alive at the Major and send Fluxo home from Austin with a 0-3 record.
Chinggis' pick of Ancient saw the Mongolian side take the opening pistol and conversion but a back and forth half meant that they could only manage a lead of two rounds. A strong T side from the Brazilians with kye stepping up saw Fluxo take a 13-10 win with kye ending the map with 29 kills with an ADR of 117.5.
A seven round streak despite losing the pistol and following conversions and the first gun round helped Fluxo take another 7-5 lead on Mirage. Despite dropping the second pistol and following rounds, Chinggis Warriors put a couple of T rounds to tie the score at 8-8 and with controlez firing up it was Chinggis stealing a 13-11 win with a cool4st 1v3 closing out the map for the Mongolians.
Nuke saw Chinggis Warriors come out shooting sharp as they raced away to a dominant T side consisting of 10 T rounds. ariucle denied piriajr a heroic ace clutch to put the final nail in Fluxo's coffin as the Mongolians picked up a dominating 13-2 win to keep themselves alive at the Austin Major 2025 and send Fluxo home with a 0-3 record.
Chinggis Warriors now moves into the 1-2 bracket and is the third Asian team along with TYLOO and Lynn Vision in that pool.
