Lynn Vision overcomes NRG challenge to make Austin Major 2025 Stage 2
Lynn Vision booked their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 2 after taking down NRG in straight maps in their 2-2 bracket game, becoming the first team from the APAC region to make Stage 2 from the first stage.
After losing the pistol and following conversions, a string of B hits saw Lynn Vision take control of their T side on Dust2 before a triple from a hero AWP on oSee helped NRG gain late momentum as they took a 7-5 lead. Despite losing both pistols on their own map pick and being 5-10 down, the Chinese team pulled it back to overtime as neither team were able to convincingly close out the map. It eventually took three overtimes which saw Lynn Vision finally come out on top at 22-20.
Inferno was the EmiliaQAQ show as despite putting up a five round CT half, NRG went missing on the T side as Lynn Vision raced to a 13-8 win to close out the series 2-0 and move into the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 2.
