Lynn Vision stay alive at the Austin Major at the expense of Chinggis Warriors
Chinese team Lynn Vision kept their run at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 going as they sent home fellow Asian team, Chinggis Warriors from the event after a 2-1 win in their 1-2 bracket match. With Chinggis Warriors eliminated, Lynn Vision and TYLOO remain the only two Asian teams in the Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 and both are now in the 2-2 bracket.
A scrappy start from Lynn Vision on Inferno, saw Chinggis Warriors capitalise as the Mongolian team took a two round lead on their CT side before the Chinese team finally found their footing on their defensive to walk away with a 13-9 win with Starry on top of the scoreboard with 21 kills.
A scrappy start to Nuke saw Chinggis Warriors end up tying up the half after being 4-0 down and Lynn Vision remained sloppy on their defence which saw Chinggis Warriors tie up the series after winning Nuke, 13-10 with ROUX and Efire topping the scoreboard with 19 kills each.
Despite a confident start on Ancient, a seven-round CT streak from Lynn Vision saw them win out the half before the scrapfest from Nuke continued in the second half on Ancient that saw the map being pushed to overtime. Lynn Vision managed to hold on in overtime to take a 16-13 win to take the series 2-1 and keep themselves alive in the Major.
The loss meanwhile spells the end of the road for Chinggis Warriors at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, as they exit with a 1-3 record.
