BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 Opening Matchups revealed
With s1mple and FaZe locking in the final BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 spot, the Stage 3 teams have been confirmed and the opening games for the final 16 has been locked in. The top 16 will also have two Asian teams for the first time in Counter-Strike Major history as The MongolZ will be joined by Lynn Vision, who have continued to impress and take Asian Counter-Strike to newer heights.
Stage 3 will kick off with a Swiss Bo1 format before the progression games switch to a Bo3 setting while the Elimination games will also be Bo3 games with the 16 teams having the top 8 move into the Playoffs.
The opening day will see Major favourites Vitality take on Legacy in the opening game while MOUZ will face a revitalised Virtus.pro on the other opening game. For the two Asian teams in the top 16, The MongolZ will face FURIA in their opening Bo1 game while Lynn Vision will take on Liquid. The games will kick off from 20:30 IST with The MongolZ's opening Bo1 scheduled for 23:00 IST while Lynn Vision's first Bo1 is scheduled for 00:15 IST.
