BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Playoffs Day 3: Recap
The third day of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Playoffs saw the two semi-finals take place as Vitality made their seventh consecutive final over MOUZ while The MongolZ pasted paiN to continue to take the Asian region forward. Now on the cusp of creating history, The MongolZ are just two map wins away from the Major trophy.

7 straight finals for Vitality
The first semi-final saw Vitality take on their new arch nemisis MOUZ, who once again fell to their final boss as apEX and his boys picked up a big 2-1 win. The ropz show on Mirage saw Vitality start with a 13-8 win before MOUZ hammered Vitality on Inferno with an 11 round CT half to take a map off the favourites.
On Train though, MOUZ lost momentum as Vitality closed the semi-final with a 13-6 win to make the Major Grand Final and yet another final in the 2025 season.

The MongolZ inflict paiN to the only remaining team from the Americas
The second semi-final was a complete blowout as The MongolZ smashed Brazilian team paiN in straight maps, picking up two 13-5 win, to create history. By becoming the first-ever Asian team in a Counter-Strike Major final, they have already created history but have a chance to go even beyond that when they take on Vitality in the Grand Final later on tonight.
