The QUBE reverse sweeps LoveSet to make Closed Qualifiers of EPL S22 Asia Qualifiers
While one Mongolian team exited the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Open Qualifiers in the quarter-finals as SIXIXIXIX lost to Alter Ego, The QUBE made sure there was something for the Mongolian community to cheer for as they took down Chinese team LoveSet to make the Closed Qualifiers.
The Chinese team's pick of Dust2 saw LoveSet fight back on their T side after going from 4-0 to 4-8 as they pulled it to overtime. A clean T side in overtime meant that LoveSet locked in Dust2 at 16-13 with CxX and 1Mo666 ending up with 26 kills each. Mirage saw LoveSet fight back after being 1-5 down to tie up the opening half but a strong T side from The QUBE saw them tie up the series with a 13-10 win on their own pick.
LoveSet's 9 round CT half had them primed to make it through but aNSeLMO and Aceari led the charge to push the map to overtime. The QUBE held on for a 16-14 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and make their way to the Closed Qualifier.
