The Huns fall to UR; ex-TALON on top in Oceania derby
The round 2 games at the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier saw The Huns, with sk0R returning to their squad and a new coach in cArnage fail to make it to the next stage while ex-TALON came out on top in their battle with fellow Oceania team Mindfreak.
The Huns faced Chinese squad UR in their matchup with UR's strong T side on their pick of Ancient getting them over the line with ease at 13-7. The Huns hit back hard on Inferno, as the trio of cobrazera, Bart4k and sk0R saw the Mongolian team tie up the series with a 13-3 win. The decider headed to Mirage with UR starting with a four round lead on Mirage and a back and forth effort in the second half saw the Chinese team hold on for a 13-9 win to take a 2-1 series win.

ex-TALON breezed past Mindfreak in the opening map of their encounter on Anubis with Mindfreak unable to find footing early on. While they tried to fight back on Nuke despite a four round CT half, ex-TALON led by ADDICT and Forleks saw ex-TALON lock in a 13-10 win to seal a 2-0 series win.
The wins for UR and ex-TALON have seen them make their way to the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier Stage 2, where they will now fight it out in the upper bracket quarter-finals.
