Nomad, HOTU progress to Stage 2 at EPL Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier
The final round of games at Stage 1 of the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier saw NomadS and HOTU make their way to the next stage with the Russian squad putting in a dominating performance to make their way through.
NomadS faced Chinese team Kaleido in their round 2 game of the opening Stage with clouden and hoolig4n leading the way for a 13-8 win for the Mongolian team on their opponent's pick of Inferno. Kaleido put up a better performance on Anubis to get things going with a tied opening half but NomadS were too strong on their T side which saw them close the series on the back of a 13-10 win.

Russian squad HOTU went up against Mongolian team The QUBE and HOTU were in red hot form as they ran through their opponents. It was a near flawless performance to get the series going as Mirage was a non-starter for The QUBE on their own map pick. One T round was all they managed as HOTU went 13-1 to kick things off in style. Ancient was a similar story with the Mongolian team managing just two more rounds than they got on Ancient as a one sided series ended with a 13-3 win for HOTU.
HOTU and NomadS are the final two teams to make the upper bracket quarter-finals of Stage 2. The other teams in the quarter-finals are Chinggis Warriors, UR, ex-TALON, SemperFi, FengaDa and IHC.
