Rare Atom brushed aside by paiN
While their compatriots Lynn Vision had a strong start to the FISSURE Playground 1 campaign, Rare Atom had a woeful start as the Chinese team were blown away by paiN. Rare Atom could manage only a total of 6 rounds across the series as they went down 0-2 without putting up much of a fight.
On their pick of Inferno, despite losing the opening pistol, Rare Atom picked up the force buy win but weren't able to capitalise on that as a six round streak from paiN saw them take a 9-3 lead at the end of the half. A clean T side saw paiN breeze to a 13-3 win with none of the Rare Atom players managing to hit double digit kills.
Dust2 saw the Chinese team pick up the opening pistol and conversion but once again that all about it as a stellar T side from the trio of snow, nqz and dav1deuS saw them take another 9-3 lead at the half before once again picking up a relatively comfortable 13-3 win to close the series 2-0.
