Incredible Ancient comeback sees 3DMAX send TYLOO home from IEM Cologne 2025

3DMAX closes it in two

TYLOO's IEM Cologne 2025 is over after the Chinese team went down 0-2 to 3DMAX in their elimination game in the lower bracket at Stage 1 with TYLOO leaving Cologne disappointed after their recent success at FISSURE Playground 1.

An aggressive start on Inferno saw TYLOO start with a 7-2 lead as Attacker had some big multi-kill rounds to get things going. The French team closed their CT half with three in a row before tieing up the score at 7-7 following their pistol win and conversion. 3DMAX hit map point first but TYLOO held on to push it to overtime as the teams traded blow. A back and forth affair continued as it took three overtimes before TYLOO closed it at 22-20 with Moseyuh and Jee topping the scoreboards with 36 and 34 kills each.

On Ancient, a 9-3 start for TYLOO had a third map all but written but a six round streak to kick off their CT half meant that 3DMAX tied up the score and with Lucky and bodyy powering the comeback an incredible 10 round CT half saw 3DMAX steal a 13-10 win to close the series 2-0.

The loss means TYLOO leaves IEM Cologne 2025 in 9-12th place, which is a disappointing result for the team, especially given the form they showed in FISSURE Playground 1.
