donk's completes Counter-Strike while Spirit joins an elite group

With Spirit winning IEM Cologne 2025 by hammering MOUZ in the Grand Final, it was another MVP in the bag for 18-year old donk, who is slowly writing himself into the list of all-time Counter-Strike greats.

donk's IEM Cologne MVP means that the Russian superstar now has won IEM Cologne, IEM Katowice and a Major and has been the MVP in all of these tournament wins. A trifecta that most Counter-Strike players aims to complete over their careers, has been completed by donk in 18 months.

donk finished IEM Cologne 2025 with an absurd 1.50 rating and also has bagged his ninth career MVP. donk now has more career MVP's than the likes of NiKo, f0rest and GuardiaN and Swedish icon GeT_RiGhT is the only rifler in the all-time MVP list with 10 ahead of him.

Not only donk, it is a big win for his team as well with Spirit's Cologne win seeing them become only the fourth team in Counter-Strike history to win IEM Cologne, IEM Katowice and a Major. The other three in the list are Fnatic, Natus Vincere and Vitality. Spirit's win also sees them join the ESL Grand Slam 7 race with chopper's boys now having 9 chances to complete their Grand Slam run, while Vitality are the other team in the running and have 8 chances themselves. Both teams need to win three more events to complete the Grand Slam run.
