The MongolZ have cited visa issues

The MongolZ withdraw from BLAST Open London

Liquid set to replace The MongolZ

Through a post on X, BLAST has confirmed that The MongolZ will not be taking part in BLAST Open London 2025. The event was set to host sixteen teams in an online group stage before sending the top six to the LAN Final. The MongolZ had secured a direct group stage invite through the Global VRS but have pulled out of the event citing visa issues. If The MongolZ were to clear the group stage, they were likely to miss out on the LAN final.

The next in line, Liquid have been confirmed as the replacement. The MongolZ came straight into IEM Cologne 2025 after the player break and made history by becoming the first Asian team to step foot in the LANXESS Arena to compete in the playoffs of an IEM Cologne event. Following The MongolZ's withdrawal, BLAST Open London 2025 will have no Asian teams. From the broader Asia-Pacific region, FlyQuest are still in the mix.
