Rare Atom no match for Astralis in Bounty 2025 Season 2 encounter
Rare Atom were outclassed by Astralis in their Stage 1 Round of 32 match at the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 as the Chinese team suffered a big loss to device and co., going down without putting up much of a fight.
Rare Atom's pick of Ancient got the series underway with Staehr's early aggressiveness seeing Astralis start with a strong CT side. Barring one T round where Rare Atom's newest signing Tiger denied device a 1v2, the Chinese team found nothing else as a 20 kill CT half from Staehr saw Astralis go 11-1 up before closing out their opponent's pick with ease at 13-1. An abysmal performance on Ancient meant that none of the Rare Atom players managed double digit kills with kaze's 8 kills being the highest for Chinese team.
Overpass saw some improvement from Ancient as a Summer quadkill at Long meant that the Chinese team managed four CT rounds but a solid defensive hold from the Danish squad led by stavn saw Astralis ease to a 13-6 win to seal a 2-0 win.The loss marks the end of Rare Atom's campaign in Bounty 2025 Season 2 as they exit in 17-32nd place.
