Lynn Vision stumble to 3DMAX in the CS Challenge Series
3DMAX has moved past Lynn Vision in the Upper-Bracket Semi-Final at Perfect World CS Challenge Series to qualify for the Upper-Final after a 2-0 win over Dust2 and Nuke, while pushing Lynn Vision down to the lower bracket.
The French team started on the CT-side of Lynn Vision's of Dust2, where a constant back-and-forth affair saw a tied score line at halftime. In the second half however, the map turned into Exc3rcice's playground, as his contributions with a 1.77 rated performance enabled a flawless T-side from 3DMAX to secure a 13-6 win.
Next up was Nuke, where another menacing T-side from Exc3rcice took 3DMAX to an 8-4 lead. Winning the second pistol cracked open a window of hope for Lynn Vision, but that got crushed soon enough as 3DMAX responded with a force buy win. Lynn Vision put up a few rounds of struggle, but ultimately ended up losing by an 8-13 margin.
The 2-0 win sees 3DMAX move into the upper bracket final where they will take on the winner of the TYLOO v B8 match while Lynn Vision drop to the lower bracket where they will fight against compatriots Rare Atom to keep themselves alive in the event.
