Lynn Vision qualifies for ECL Season 50 APAC Finals after Cup 1 win
Lynn Vision have won the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 1, beating compatriots Rare Atom in the Grand Final to qualify for the ECL Season 50 Asia-Pacific Finals. It was a one-sided affair in the final which saw Lynn Vision ease to a 2-0 win.
Rare Atom were missing on their pick of Ancient as a 10 round CT half led by EmiliaQAQ's 18 kill defensive hold saw them take control early on to ease to a 13-2 win. None of the Rare Atom players could even manage double digit kills. Lynn Vision's dominance continued as they went on a nine-round streak on their pick of Dust2 and it was another 10-2 start, this time on their T side.
A second half pistol put Rare Atom on a comeback trail but that was cut short as Lynn Vision made sure the comeback didn't stick as they stole a 13-7 win. The 2-0 win in the grand final sees Lynn Vision pick up the $5000 prize money and book a spot in the Season 50 Asia-Pacific Finals as well. With the ESL Challenger League Season Asia-Pacific Cup 1 coming to an end, it was also one of the final tournaments in which Indian team Victores Sumus participated, although they finished in 13-16th place.
