Bharat Ascend Esports announces CS2 1v1 tournament

A 1v1 event for the Indian community

Indian esports tournament organiser, Bharat Ascend Esports has announced a return to Counter-Strike with their upcoming CS2 venture, a 1v1 event. Their IP, the Rivalry Rush returns with the Standoff 1v1 tournament.

The event will follow a three phase schedule with Phase 1 being the FFA Mayhem, which will see a total of 100 players divided into five groups of 20. The will then battle it out in a 12 minute Free-for-All-Deathmatch session. The top 10 from the five groups will move ahead to Phase 2.

Phase 2 will be The Filter of Fire where the players will be put into 3 groups. They players will once again fight it out in 12 minute deathmatch sessions with 10 players from Group 1, and 11 each from Group 2 and Group 3 advancing to the final stage.

The last and final phase will be the 1v1 Elimination Battles, between the remaining 32 players. The 32 players will fight it out to move to the Top 16 group through BO1s with the first to 13 rounds winning in a classic 1v1 AIM battle following a single-elimination bracket. . The quarter-final, semi-final and final will be BO3 encounters.

  • Grand Final - September 14, 2025

Prize Pool

  • Overall - INR 10,000

  • 1st Place - INR 7,000

  • 2nd Place - INR 3,000
