True Thunder receive invite for ECL Season 50 Cup #3

ESL has revealed the list of teams invited to the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup 3. From Asia, a total of 16 teams have secured invite, where the top team will head to the regional finals.

The ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 will follow a double elimination BO3 format with the 16 teams fighting it out for the $10,000 prize pool and also a spot in the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Finals. The winner of the Finals will make their way to ESL Pro League Season 23.

The invitation from India will be extended to True Thunder, notwithstanding the prior mention of Gods Reign. The tournament kicks off on 5th October, and will be held online. The tournament also carries a prize pool of $10k, with the first place winner receiving $5k, while $2.5k, $1.5k, and $1k will be awarded to the subsequent placements.

The ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 1 and Cup 2 were won by Lynn Vision and Rare Atom respectively.
