Media: Mongolian prodigy chooses North America over Asia

Mongolian player nocries, who has been making the news recently with his incredible rise and also seeing off cheating allegations by proving himself at the FACEIT headquarters, has revealed the region he would like to play for. The young Mongolian stated that since he is in North America, he would play for North America, over Asia.

In a chat with Counter-Strike content creator, FURIOUSSS which nocries participated in from Discord, the Mongolian spoke about his future Counter-Strike plans. FURIOUSSS asked the young Mongolian player about his feelings coming into FACEIT.

nocries did mention that he was a bit nervous given the allegations around him but managed to quieten all the white noise around him with top numbers in his games in New York. He also revealed that he likes to play as an entry-fragger and even though he prefers the rifle, when asked as to why he used the AWP more than the rifle at FACEIT, he said it was because he was 'feeling it.'

When FURIOUSSS asked him which country/continent he would like to represent, nocries made no hesitations in stating that he 'definitely would want to play from North America.' He revealed it is because he is 'from NA' and even though he doesn't represent the USA flag, given that he is studying there, he chooses North America over possibly his home country, Mongolia.

The upcoming star also revealed that he is in contact with some people from the Tier-1 or Tier-2 scene but there has been no offer made to him yet. When asked whether he would like to play for The MongolZ, he mentioned that even though he would love to, he would have a hard time communicating with the players as they do in Mongolian and nocries isn't fluent enough.

The development comes just days after nocries spent some time at the FACEIT headquarters to prove himself following cheating allegations against himself. The Mongolian impressed all at the FACEIT headquarters in New York and FACEIT had also announced that he will be taking part in FPL soon.
