Could we see some Counter-Strike legends in Chennai?

A day after revealing their plans for an international CS2 LAN event in Chennai, India in November 2025, Skyesports' CEO and Founder has also hinted that there might be some Counter-Strike legends in Chennai during the event.

Skyesports CEO and Founder, Shiva Nandy has posted on X, reaching out to the likes of s1mple, kennyS, olofmeister, GuardiaN and dupreeh stating that the tournament organiser is aiming to bring Counter-Strike legends to Chennai for the Chennai Esports Global Championship in November 2025. Nandy has also revealed that this would be a paid opportunity for the players and is looking for assistance to reach out to the players.

The development comes a day after Skyesports had officially revealed that Counter-Strike 2 will be one of the two titles at the Chennai Esports Global Championship and there will be teams from India, Southeast Asia and Europe at the event. The CS2 LAN event is scheduled to be held between November 7 - 9, 2025 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
