Skyesports opens registrations for their CEGC CS2 event

Skyesports have opened the registrations for their upcoming Counter-Strike 2 LAN, which will be apart of the Chennai Esports Global Championship. The main LAN event will take place in Chennai, India and will be held between November 7-9, 2025 and teams from India, Southeast Asia and Europe can take part. Skyesports have also revealed the prize pool for the event, which will be $50,000 and it will be Tier-2 event.

The tournament is stated to be VRS Tier-2 ranked event with regional qualifier now being open to all. Teams from India, Southeast Asia and Europe can register with the top 2 teams from each of the regions qualifying for the main LAN event, which will be held in Chennai in November 2025.

Skyesports have not announced the dates for the Open Qualifier yet though and the Format for the event is still under the 'T.B.D' tag in their official rulebook.
