Skyesports reveals CEGC 2025 CS2 qualifier dates and more

Skyesports have revealed the dates for the qualifier of the Chennai Esports Global Championship CS2 event. The $50,000 Tier-2 event will have teams taking part from India, Southeast Asia and Europe and the teams from these regions will have to battle through regional qualifiers to make the main LAN event, that will take place in Chennai in November 2025.

The qualifiers are divided into three regions, Southeast Asia, Europe and India, with the qualifiers set to get underway from October 17, 2025. The top 2 teams from each of the three regional qualifiers will make their way to the main LAN event, which will be held between November 7 - 9, 2025 in Chennai, India.

The Southeast Asia (SEA) qualifiers get things underway, with the SEA qualifiers set to be held between Oct 17 - 19, 2025. A couple of days later, the European qualifiers will get going, with the European qualifiers scheduled to be held between October 21 - 23, 2025. The Indian qualifiers will round out the action with the Indian qualifiers set to be held between October 24 - 26, 2025. All of the regional qualifiers are going to be held online and are open to all.

Additionally, the tournament organiser has also revealed the prize pool breakdown for their $50,000 main event. The six teams from the regional qualifiers will battle it out for $50,000 across a LAN event in Chennai, India between November 7 - 9, 2025.

The prize pool breakdown for the event is as following:

1st Prize - $30,000
2nd Prize - $15,000
3rd Prize - $4,000
MVP Prize - $1,000
