The MongolZ fight off GamerLegion to stay alive at EPL
The MongolZ have sent GamerLegion home from ESL Pro League Season 22 and kept themselves alive in Stockholm after picking up their first win at the tournament. The win also sees The MongolZ get off the mark at ESL Pro League Season 22 and they now move into the 1-2 bracket and need to win two more BO3s to qualify to the Playoffs.
A quick start on Inferno saw The MongolZ race away to a 7-1 start before GamerLegion salvaged the half with four on the trot to keep The MongolZ's lead to two. The CT pistol and conversion saw GamerLegion go on to take the lead at 9-7 before The MongolZ got their T side going and with mzinho stepping up, The MongolZ closed GamerLegion's pick at 13-10.
Ancient saw Senzu and 910 step up to make sure The MongolZ found at least 5 on their CT half after taking the pistol and conversion but it was hypex's AWP that pushed GamerLegion to a 13-11 win to see the series head to a decider. The MongolZ finally found form and a dominant CT half led by mzinho and 910 saw The MongolZ start 10-2 and despite a late comeback attempt from GamerLegion it was The MongolZ holding on for a 13-7 win.
