THE MONGOLZ ASCEND TO #1 IN GLOBAL VRS

Valve's latest Regional Standings update has officially confirmed the teams that are eligible to receive a Major invite and The MongolZ are now officially the #1 team in the world, topping the Global VRS. The MongolZ have 1957 points to their name with a 60+ points lead over FURIA in second place. Vitality are at #3 with 1869 points as Spirit and Falcons round off the global top five. The MongolZ have become the first ever Asian team to top the Global VRS or any other Global Counter-Strike rankings list.

Asia's #1- The MongolZ, Europe's top five- Vitality, Spirit, MOUZ, G2 and Falcons, Americas' top two- paIN and FURIA have all bagged direct Stage 3 invites for the StarLadder Budapest 2025 Major. For ranking right below The MongolZ at #2 in the Asian VRS, TYLOO will receive a Stage 2 invite alongside Aurora, NAVI, 3DMAX, Astralis, Liquid, Passion UA and MIBR.

The MongolZ spearheaded Asia's case at the Perfect World Shanghai Major and one-upped it at BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major making it all the way into the grand-final, even taking a map off of an in-form Vitality. As a result, Asia gets four more slots in Stage 3. Lynn Vision, The Huns, FlyQuest and Rare Atom will represent Asia in Stage 3 of the StarLadder Budapest 2025 Major.
