The MongolZ drop Senzu in an unexpected roster move

Senzu dropped just a month before the Budapest Major

In one of the most shocking move of the season, The MongolZ has benched their highest rated player, Senzu. The move comes less than three weeks after they were dethroned from the #1 spot in VRS.

Senzu had been a part of The MongolZ since Septmber 2023, and was a main reason behind the team's success. In his tenure for the team, that lasted a little longer than two years, Senzu averaged a 1.12 rating across 415 maps.

The past 12 months brought more glory for Senzu and The MongolZ, as after a series of top four finishes, they reached the Finals of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, and then secured their biggest title at Esports World Cup 2025. In both events, Senzu was stellar, averaging a 1.29 and 1.16 rating respectively.

The MongolZ then reached #1 in VRS at the start of October, after a succesful campaign at FISSURE Playground 2, where The MongolZ reached another final on the back of a 1.17 rated performance from Senzu. This move comes with roughly a month remaining before the Major. It’s currently unclear who will replace Senzu.

The change leaves The MongolZ as:
