Wicked Gaming best Arise to win Skyesports CEGC 2025 India Qualifier

After getting comprehensively beaten by OxinGame Esport in the final of the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 27 earlier in the day, Wicked Gaming finally found some form as they dominated Arise in the final of the Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 India Qualifier. Although both teams have already booked their place in the LAN event in Chennai, two of India's best teams faced off against each other in a seeding game.

Wicked Gaming stormed away to a dominant opening half as Arise had no answer to an aggressive Crazy_Gamer which saw Wicked Gaming go 11-1 to get things going. Arise picked up the second half pistol but that was all as Wicked Gaming answered with the force and closed Inferno at 13-2 to round out a dominant opening map.

A Benzene triple gave Arise the opening pistol on Dust2 but Wicked Gaming hit back with the force which helped them build early momentum. It was another stomp from Wicked Gaming to start the map as they went 10-2 at the break with the trio of Ph1NNN, CycloneF and Crazy_Gamer having a strong opening half.

Like Wicked Gaming, it was Arise finding momentum despite losing the second pistol and with reV3nnnn finding form after a slow start, Bhavi and co. brought it to a three round game. Arise threatened overtime but Wicked Gaming held on and closed Dust2 at 13-9 to win the final 2-0. The win sees Wicked Gaming win the Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 India Qualifier. Despite losing, Arise have also booked their spot at the Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 main event.

The Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 LAN will take place between November 7 - November 9, 2025 in Chennai with likes of BIG, Mousquetaire, True Thunder and Nemesis already having booked their place in the six team LAN event. The event carries a prize pool of $50,000.
