TYLOO go down fighting to Vitality
After getting blown away on their map pick, TYLOO showed resilience to fight back against Vitality in their opening game at the BLAST Rivals Season 2 but the Chinese team fumbled in the final hurdle to go down 1-2 to Vitality which sends them to the lower bracket.
A quick A hit saw TYLOO start Overpass with the T pistol but apEX and ropz's Deagles handed Vitality the force buy which saw the reigning Major champions gain momentum on their CT side. After seven in a row from Vitality, JamYoung capitalised on a missed ZywOo AWP shot to see TYLOO pick up their second. TYLOO failed to build off that as they dropped a 5v3 on the A site, letting flameZ come in with a big 1v2 clutch and it was Vitality picking up a massive 10-2 at the break. mezii denied Jee an incredible 1v4 attempt on the pistol but that was about it for TYLOO as Vitality kept it clean to secure at 13-2 win on the Chinese team's map pick.
An apEX clutch kicked off Nuke as but it was Mercury and JamYoung's incredible defence that saw TYLOO storm to a 9-3 start on Vitality's pick. Mercury continued to impress as he locked in double digits for TYLOO with a clean pistol and TYLO dropped a solitary T round to ease to a 13-4 win to tie up the series.
Jee's AWP finally found form as TYLOO carried the Nuke momentum into Inferno and it took a ZywOo MAC-10 triple opener to get Vitality's T side going as they kept it tied at 6-6. ropz's Dualies saw Vitality lock in the second pistol on Inferno and after a trade of rounds, it was a neck and neck game with TYLOO having the advantage. ZywOo and ropz turned around a 2v5 on the B site as TYLOO lost the plot in the eleventh hour to see Vitality steal a 13-11 win to hold on to a 2-1 series win.
The loss drops TYLOO into the lower bracket final, where they will face paiN to stay alive in the event. Vitality meanwhile, will take on FURIA, in a rematch of the IEM Chengdu 2025 final with apEX and co. looking to avenge the loss in China.
