Kaleido moves into ECL S50 APAC Cup 4 finals
Kaleido have beaten compatriots FengDa in the Consolidation Final of ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 to move into the Final, where they will take on Chinggis Warriors. Kaleido's suki, who had a horror show against Chinggis Warriors in the upper bracket final, turned up in spades for his turn, top fragging and getting his team into the final.
FengDa's pick of Mirage got things underway and it was a half of two six round streaks. Kaleido got things going with six straight on their CT side before FengDa tied things up with six T rounds to close the half. It was a similar story in the second half as string of rounds from each side pushed it to overtime and it took a double overtime affari to go the way of Kaleido, who held on for a 19-15 win.
Inferno was rage and suki keeping Kaleido alive on their T side with a tied half before a clean CT half from Kaleido saw them lock in a 13-8 win to seal the series 2-0. Kaleido will next face Chinggis Warriors in the final of the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 with the winner qualifying for the Asia-Pacific Finals.
