FlyQuest fightback to stun Legacy in Budapest

Pick'ems ruined

FlyQuest started their StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 campaign in style, taking down Legacy in their opening BO1 game with the Australian fighting back from a 4-8 score line to pick up a convincing win.

A quick B hit saw FlyQuest start Train with the T pistol before holding on against a scary force buy which saw FlyQuest turn around a 3v4 to hold on. Legacy got on board with a B retake and tied up the score at 3-3 in no time. After five in a row from Legacy, it looked like Vexite's lurk had done enough but saadzin turned around a 2v4 for Legacy to continue the Brazilians' streak. A quad kill from INS saw FlyQuest get back on the board to put up their fourth but that was all FlyQuest managed on their T side as it was an 8-4 half in the favour of the Brazilians.

A triple from latto with the Dualies saw Legacy pick up the second pistol and despite losing the force buy, FlyQuest answered with an eco as jks held on in a 1v1 against saadzin. With the guns out, FlyQuest tied up the score at 10-10. Two big rounds from Vexite saw FlyQuest hit match point first and it was FlyQuest picking up a big scalp in their opening game to take down Legacy 13-10, closing it out quickly.
