TYLOO fall to NIP to go 1-1 on Stage 2 opening day
After a dominating win over PARIVISION to kick off their StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 campaign, TYLOO suffered their first loss in Hungary as they were beaten by Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) in their 1-0 bracket game. The loss means that TYLOO ends their games on Day 1 of Stage 2 with a 1-1 record.
Moseyuh's quad kill on the Dualies saw TYLOO kick off Nuke with the CT pistol but NIP replied with a quick A hit on the force buy to get Snappi and co. going. TYLOO answered back with a force of their own thanks to a Moseyuh triple on the MP9 which saw the Chinese team shut down another attempt at a quick top site hit. TYLOO's force buy win saw them break NIP's economy to go 4-1 up before we saw the first gun round of the match which saw sjuush and xKacpersky convert a late 2v3 with some sharp shooting. NIP wasted no time in tying up the scoreline before JamYoung shutdown an A hit with a big triple from back site to get TYLOO's fifth.
A big Snappi 1v2 gave NIP late momentum to find at least six on their T side as Snappi's boys turned around a 1-4 deficit to tie up the opening half. If it was Moseyuh with the Dualies in the opening pistol, xKacpersky came in with his big Dualies round to even out the pistols on Nuke. After a clean anti-eco, ewjerkz and Snappi shut down a fast A hit attempt that saw NIP take a three-round lead. Moseyuh and Jee's Tec-9 openers saw TYLOO steal their first T round but sjuush answered back instantly with a 1v2 on the B site to get NIP's 10th. Mercury's heroic 1v4 clutch on the B site saw him keep TYLOO alive but it was too late as NIP cleaned up quick, closing things out at 13-8.
