APL prize pool revealed

Through a post on X, the prize pool for the Asia Pro League: Proving Grounds has been revealed. The league spanning across two days will carry a prize pool of $550 USD and will be distributed as follows:

• 1st Place: $250 USD

• 2nd Place: $175 USD

• 3rd Place: $125 USD

On both days- 19th and 20th December 2025, queues for the league will begin at 08:00PM IST. The Asia Pro League circuit was announced way back in August with the overall aim of improving the Counter-Strike ecosystem of the region. APL was announced as a non-profit invite-only league running on weekends with no official games. For each match, two captains would be picked from the top of the leaderboard who gets to pick the rest of their roster from the remaining eight.
