
HLTV unveils Women's Player of the Year and Team of the Year finalists
After a historical year for women's Counter-Strike, HLTV has revealed the list of Women's Team of the Year and Women's Player of the Year finalists. For the first time in three years, Imperial Valkyries have not been nominated for Team of the Year or Player of the year.
Women’s Team of the Year finalists:
For Women's team of the year, the finalists are BIG Equipa, FURIA fe, and MIBR fe. BIG' EQUIPA made ESL impact Season 8 finals, combined with impressive online results at two Elite Fe Cups and Athena Cup 3. FURIA Fe, the next finalist, were champions at ESL Impact Season 7, and finalists at major Brazilian LANS. Finally, the last finalist, MIBR fe secured two LAN titles and were runner ups at ESL Impact Season 8.

Women’s Player of the Year finalists:
Coming to Women's Player of the Year finalists, first up is ASTRA from France. The 25 year old displayed strong in-game performance as the IGL, including standout ratings with Zerance before joining BIG EQUIPA. The second finalist is FURIA fe's bizinha, who solidified herself as a dominant rifler, whilst also grabbing MVP at Impact Season 7 Finals. The third finalist is vicu, who clinched MVP at Season 8 finals after consistent high-level performance throughout the year for BIG EQUIPA.
