Rooster send VTM packing from eXTREMESLAND
After a narrow defeat against the home team Rare Atom, Rooster took on a wounded VTM in their second match at the ongoing eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025. Both these teams had gone down to Rare Atom in their opening matches and were fighting for survival and it was Rooster putting in a commanding performance to book their place in the quarter-finals of the eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025.
Starting on the CT-side of Inferno, Rooster got off to a 5-0 start with TjP and Terry dropping back to back multi-frag rounds. VTM clawed back a few rounds in the middle but still ended up conceding a 4-8 disadvantage. A flawless T-side saw Rooster close out Inferno with a dominant 13-4 scoreline.
VTM's consecutive losses now send them tumbling down to the bottom of the Group C leaderboard, ending their eXTREMESLAND 2025 journey. VTM become the third team to exit the event after Deep Cross and Sensation. asap, meanwhile, finished the map with a 2.06 rating and an ADR of 110 to see Rooster move ahead into the Playoffs.
